We have 2 performance programs, one is a creation work which international artists On&Off Dance Company and Arnau Milla created with full force, and another is a performance work titled “groove of bach” choreographed by Yoshiya Yoshimitsu who got DCP Award in SAI International Dance Festival.

groove of bach

Choreography/Performer : Yoshiya Yoshimitsu

The performer loops through the choral of Bach and hears it in the constrained space on the chair. Every time you loop, the performers deeply participate in music. At the same time, rules are being imposed on the performers according to the music. As a performer is forced to work according to the rules, it also creates a participatory gap with his body. The audience can see the result of the loop process, the work of the performer, and the work.


Yoshiya Yoshimitsu
Born in 1994 from Otsu city, Shiga Prefecture. He lives in Kyoto city. He had been sung in church choir from early childhood. Studied cello with Mr. Choi when he was in his teens. At the age of 21, training at Machol Shalem Dance House (Jerusalem) started the dance in earnest. Danced with Mr. Yazaki Kasei, studied under Mr. Heidi Darning. What is convincing performance? He is learning under the problem consciousness. Also, as a member of “GEKIDNSOKUDO (=theatrical group speed) presided over by Masato Nomura, he is performing directing, choreography and appearance of performance works. In his work, aiming to confront the problem hitting in everyday life and put them in the work. He is interested in the body which is art-categorized the working, the musicality of the body, the body to resist, etc. Moreover, by using and ignoring the "standard", "variable" and "anti-standard" his work is characterized by causing a strong texture. Studying at the Doshisha University Faculty of Letters Department of Aesthetics and Arts.

Observation of human beings and the body and its relationship are set in the aisle of runway (road), is shown as a human show which goes on and on.
A body as an organic life, a human being as an animal, a primitive man while walking upright biped, a person desiring to pursue ideal, a person fighting with survival, a person with peaceful everyday expression, and a dynamic People who dance beautifully modern dance gorgeously ... are spreading.
When the runway (road) and the runway (road) of the audience come on handed out by the on&off dance company.

Living in Reality it is no exaggeration to say that we are living a life such as a dream.
The first encounter there is painful, sometimes feeling very lonesome.
Blowing out all the inner conflicts and seeking out each other.
Express the story of such a lover's bitter feelings with an oriental and poetic drama to draw out emotions.


Han Chang-Ho & Do yu
In 2001 dancer and educator Hanchanjo and Doyu founded a dance company "on&off dance company" to explore and practice the truth of Life and Sincerity.
At the Chuncheon International Mime Festival 2001, the work "Dance with me" gains great popularity from the audience.
In the work "Asphalt Blues" they won the 2004 Ginkawa Festival free participation work subject. They are pioneers who play the dynamic performing arts on the street.
Moved the free space "Dance Factory" which was managed in 2005, developed regional activities such as "Dance Saturday" and "Murre(=pottery’s wheel) art festival", and was recognized for its achievement in 2009, and the Korean Dance Critic Association they received a special prize.
In 2005 they worked as residence artists at Jinsen Art Camp (2011-2013) and Seoul Dance Center (2013-2014), and in 2005 they were awarded the Young Choreographer Excellence Award from the Korean Dance Association, the Korean Culture and Arts Committee Member, 2006 Accompanying a New Emerging Artist, 2007 Choreographer Training Choreographer Choreographer, 2008 Seoul Cultural Foundation sponsored a New York Lincoln Center training course for educational artists.
By 2015 "Step by Step" Winner of the Best Work Award of the Ansan International Street Art Festival Free Participation Work.
Since 2017 they have been making creative exchanges with Taiwanese dance company, Japanese theaters and artists, and they are striving to create day and night so that they can encounter the audience and have a happy time through dancing.

We will use Soundpainting language to create a collective piece exploring the limits of our artistic disciplines.
Using our body, our voice, and the interaction between objects and architectonic spaces as a tools to get our own artistic material.
We will look for the personality itself to build a collective perspective.
Noise can be music if we learn how to listen it.

What is Soundpainting?
Soundpainting is the universal multidisciplinary live composing sign language for musicians, actors, dancers, and visual Artists.
The language comprises more than 1200 gestures that are signed by the Soundpainter (composer) to indicate the type of material desired of the performers.
The creation of the composition is realized, by the Soundpainter, through the parameters of each set of signed gestures.
Is a choreography in real time. And a live composing.

Arnau Milla / アルナウ・ミラ
Catalan multidisciplinary artist, that works with the interaction between music and dance.
As a creator he develops musical projects that link with other artistic languages with a social
commitment. Always in search of finding connections between the “self” and the “environment”. He’s the artist director of the multidisciplinary company Col·lectiu Free't.
Their work is focused on improvisation and live composition, using creative and experimental languages as Soundpainting (multidisciplinary live composing sign language) or Contact Improvisation
(technique in which points of physical contact provide the starting point for exploration through movement improvisation).
