Norihito Ishii 40th Anniversary Special Performance
Ore no Hana
Inspired by Zeami's masterpiece "Fushikaden," Norihito Ishii, a dancer for 40 years of his life, a dancer for 23 years, and a butoh dancer for 15 years, will dance in search of "Toki no Hana" and "Makoto no Hana" that transcend time. Photographer Tomohide Ikeya vividly captures these moments and projects them on a projector in real time, creating together a new world of performing arts. This commemorative performance is a one-night-only miracle that connects the present and the future.

9/24 "Toki no Hana"
Music: Toru Yamanaka (dumb type)
The last day of Norihito Ishii's 39th year. Ishii, who has pursued his own unique expression through street dance and then contemporary dance, will dance while reflecting on his past performances, using "Toki no Hana" from Zeami's famous book "Fushikaden" as a theme. This time, musician Toru Yamanaka (Dumb Type) will join Ishii for a retrospective of his dance life to date with a variety of sounds, including four beats and electronic noise.

The first day of Norihito Ishii's 40th year. Looking ahead to the next 10 years, he will dance to break new butoh ground. This time, he will be joined by musician Tomohisa Ishikawa (Techno Boys) to dance his vision for the future with his piano and synthesizer sounds. Making the most of the techniques and sensibilities Ishii has cultivated, he will express his challenge and vision for the next 10 years.

Norihito Ishii
Ishii started street dancing at the age of 17, and won prizes in various dance contests. After working as a back dancer for numerous artists such as Sugashicao, DJOZMA, Fuyumi Sakamoto, and Minoriko Nakamura, and as a dancer for commercials and theme parks, in 2006 he moved his activities to the stage space.
In the past, she has participated in domestic and international performances by various dance companies and dance artists, and has also performed in theater productions by Yukio Ninagawa and Amon Miyamoto.
In 2010, she joined Sankai Juku, a butoh company that has performed in over 700 cities in 45 countries around the world.
In 2013, she won the Jury Prize at the Seoul International Choreography Festival, the overall runner-up at the time, and in 2015, she won the SCF Award, the overall runner-up at the same festival. He is the first person to win the award twice.
Tomohide Ikeya
His hobby of diving led him to photography, and he is creative in many of his water works.
He expresses a unique sense of life and death through the theme of control, and uses a variety of materials that are not bound by conventional photographic expression.
He has received numerous international photography awards, including "Best of Show" at the International Photography Awards.
In 2013, he published "BREATH," a collection of his underwater works.

Toru Yamanaka (dumb type)
As a student, he was active in the field of experimental music mainly in Kyoto, and participated in the launch of the multimedia performance artist group "dumb type". As a member of Genesis, he was in charge of music and sound.
He is also the organizer and DJ of the legendary "Diamonds Are Forever" drag queen event, which continues to this day, and actively collaborates with people in a variety of fields.
In recent years, he has been the musical director of TheatreWorks, the company of Ong Keng Sen, one of Asia's leading directors, and has composed music for a variety of productions.
In 2022, he won several music awards for his work on the film "Forest Island.
2024 Dumb Type will reissue his early musical works "Twilight in the Garden" (1985) and "Sleep Plan" (1986).

Tomohisa Ishikawa (TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND)
Graduated from the Graduate School of Composition, Osaka College of Music.
His orchestral song "Tsutsu" was premiered in the former Yugoslavia at the invitation of the Viennese court musician Olivella Miliakovic, and was performed again in Italy and Austria.
After that, he began to provide accompaniment and theme songs for animation works such as "SHORT PEACE" by Katsuhiro Otomo, "APPLE SEED EX MACHINA" produced by John Woo, "Osomatsu-san," "Kaket Kegurui-" and "Obsolito". He has also participated in Toru Yamanaka's (dumb type) installations in Singapore and France, and in the live performances of dumb type era, and is active as a member of TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND.
